I can’t believe the difference coming to Reach has made to myself, my marriage and my family.
Fundraise for Reach
At Reach we genuinely believe that fundraising in itself is a purposeful and spiritual activity that releases vital resources to help others find hope and healing.
All that Reach has done in helping everyone who has come to us has only been possible because of supporters and fundraisers acting with generosity and compassion. If you, or your church, would like to help people find better lives through Christian counselling, we would be thrilled to welcome any fundraising activity on behalf of Reach.
Fundraising Activities
Here are some of the ways in which people have kindly raised funds for Reach in the past while having lots of fun in the process.
Sponsored Runs – right up to marathon distance.
Triathlons – for when a run is not enough and you need to add a cycle and a swim.
Sponsored Walks – we have previously run a number of walks! This normally involves great company, lovely scenery and delicious cakes (see the pictures below). If you are interested in getting involved in a future walk, please let us know.
Golf Days – where golfers of varying ability have enjoyed the course, nearest the pin, longest drive and the 19th hole whilst raising valuable funds. If you would like to join or run a golf day, please let us know.
A Church Gift Day – when a church has identified one Sunday as an opportunity to show their care for those with mental health, emotional and relational needs in their community and across the North, through giving or encouraging giving to Reach. If you would like to incorporate a Reach presentation as part of a Giving Day, please let us know.
Cake Sales and Coffee mornings – where the combination of lovely homemade food, drinks and connecting with others has also raised funds to care for those in need. If you would like to receive some marketing leaflets for your event, please let us know.
‘One in a Thousand’ – we sought 1,000 generous people to donate £10 each to raise £10,000 towards our refurbishment through our ‘One in a Thousand’ appeal. More detailed information can be found on ‘One in a Thousand’ appeal on our News page.
We would be delighted if you wish to get involved in any of these fundraising ventures. If you would like to add to this range of fundraising activities here are some further ideas and inspiration in our A –Z list of activities.
